8.1.2018: More than four dimensions?

Current physics use four dimensions to explain and describe our current world: 3 spatial dimensions and 1 time dimension. Invariance in time means energy conversation.

However, current Quantum Hall experiments [1], [2] seem to indicate that at least a fourth spatial (quantum) dimension may exist. This allows quantum states to manifest structures (eigenvalues) in four dimensions.

Theoretical physicist already speculate since two decades, that our 'world' is not restricted to four dimensions, but rather 'tiny' and perhaps 'curled' dimensions do exist which are not accessible within our energy range. However, the Quantum Hall experiments performed by the ETH Zurich [3], may indicate a different scenario making the fourth spatial dimension accessible by quantum effects.
